We have been informed of a current scam that we wanted to share with you.
It is a call from telephone number 0203 757 0543. If answered it plays an automated message informing you that you are subject to a fraud investigation by HMRC and to press 1 to be connected and that failure to do so will result in criminal proceedings.
HMRC rarely call you and they never request payment or personal details over the phone.
